one of the most important habitats of the endangered loggerhead sea turtle.
Along the way, enjoy a relaxed sea kayaking route with views of Zakynthos’ southern coastline and
crystal-clear waters.
This area is well known for the presence of the Caretta Caretta,
offering the chance for a respectful and eco-conscious wildlife encounter.
The swimming stop takes place at Marathonisi’s beautiful beach, where you can relax,
swim or snorkel in the warm waters of the bay.
This kayaking route is generally calm and beginner-friendly,
making it ideal for those who want to combine paddling, nature and the unique marine environment of Zakynthos.
